On cue for snooker at Hull Venue

If you have the taste to watch live snooker, with the World Championships taking place in Sheffield, then look out for the 2018 UK Seniors Snooker Championship at Hull Venue this October.

A host of snooker’s greatest-ever players will descend on the city to battle it out for the title, including defending champion Jimmy ‘The Whirlwind’ White.

Legends Ken Doherty, John Parrott, Dennis Taylor, Joe Johnson and Cliff Thorburn are already lined up to play, although the line-up is subject to change.

The tournament starts on Wednesday 24th October as the snooker legends take on Jimmy White to be crowned the UK Seniors Champion.

Jimmy said: “I am delighted to be defending my title in Hull at the new Venue. I’ve always enjoyed competing in the area, I’ve had some great nights playing Higgins there - it was a real hotbed for snooker in the 80s. I hope everyone will come along and support our first seniors event there.”
